Hi, my name’s Disco and my Daddy is the one who gave
me such a unique name. I’m one of two puppies that my
parents kept from their first litter. I’m really attached to
my sister Jasmine and tend to follow her everywhere.
We spend most of our time in each other’s company, but
we have extremely different personalities. She’s feisty
and I’m rather mellow. I’m calm most of the time and like
to take my time getting places.
When people first meet me they think I’m rather
excitable, but that's only when company visits. I'm
usually rather mellow. I get along with everyone and I’m
really just a softy. As a puppy I competed in a few puppy
matches and I was even in a costume contest. I was
dressed up as a giraffe (check out my pics) and my sister
was a lion. Mommy had to bribe me with treats to get me
to walk around the ring and she eventually carried me
part of the way. I was a bit stubborn that day, but I loved
being in my mommy’s arms. Everyone laughed and
complimented my costume. We were a riot and we even
went home with a pretty purple ribbon.
I have competed in many dog shows over the years
and Daddy jokes about all the reserve wins I've gotten.
All those visits to dog shows have paid off though, I am
now an AKC Champion and my parents couldn't be more
proud.
My favorite things to do are sleep and eat, in that
order. I can be extremely lazy at times and can fall
asleep anywhere. I'm a momma's boy and I cuddle up to
my mom every night. I even snuggle with her on the
couch. So don’t throw a ball and expect me to fetch, I’ll
just let one of the other dogs chase it and steal it from
them. I think it’s time for me to get back to my nap. After
all, I need my beauty sleep.
